Roundtables Bring Together Arts, Health Organizations

The New Jersey State Council on the Arts has launched a virtual series of Arts & Health Roundtables to bring together New Jersey organizations actively involved in the arts and health fields, as well as those interested in getting involved. The sessions are designed to be spaces to network, share resources, and drive partnership, all toward the goal of understanding what’s needed to strengthen and support arts and health initiatives statewide.

Arts & Health Roundtables will be held this April and May, organized in two different tracks that will converge in June. All sessions are free and take place via Zoom, but registration is required. Visit www.artscouncil.nj.gov.

Sessions for New Jersey arts organizations of all sizes and artistic disciplines involved in arts and health or interested in getting involved take place Friday, April 25, and Thursday, May 22.

Sessions for community partners — New Jersey organizations including, but not limited to funders, representatives from health, human services, and insurance organizations, and state entities involved in arts and health or are interested in getting involved — take place Wednesdays, April 30 and May 28.

A combined final roundtable scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, will be a chance for all organizations to come together.

All sessions will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sessions will not include discussions about funding or grant programs.
