The Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrates a new chairman and slate of board officers at its traditional “Changing of the Guard” celebration on Thursday, January 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stone Terrace by John Henry’s in Hamilton. More information and tickets can be found www.princetonmercerchamber.org.

Patrick L. Ryan, president and CEO of First Bank, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Board for the 2026-27 term. Ryan succeeds Jeannine Cimino, regional president and senior vice president of Mid Penn Bank.

Ryan played an integral role in the 2019 merger of the Princeton Regional and MidJersey Chambers of Commerce, and he has served the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber as treasurer, vice chair, and chair elect since joining the inaugural combined board.

“The Chamber has much to celebrate over the past two years, including strong membership growth, the debut of our digital magazine, and the launch of our Young Entrepreneur’s Academy,” said Cimino. “I have no doubt that Pat Ryan will build on that success and lead the Chamber to even greater heights.”

Joining Ryan on the PMRC’s Executive Committee will be Zack Warringer, vice chair & chair-elect; Chris Borden, vice chair; Jeff Hurley, treasurer; Greg Blair, secretary; and Jeannine Cimino, immediate past chair. These officers will also serve as the board of the Princeton Regional Chamber Foundation, the organization’s 501(c)3 arm.

Directors newly elected to the board include Deborah Preston, president of Mercer County Community College; Vincent J. Scozzari, executive vice president of V.J. Scozzari & Sons; Greg Cooke, vice president of the legal division at Integris; and Bob Ohrablo, president of Trenton ECHL Hockey.

In his role at First Bank, which he joined in 2008, Ryan is responsible for the strategic direction and overall performance of the company. As president and CEO, Ryan led a successful $23 million initial public offering for First Bank and the stock is now traded on the NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker symbol FRBA.

Ryan currently serves on the board of directors of the New Jersey Bankers Association, the Capital Area YMCA, and the Mercer County 200 Club.

Ryan graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree in government and a minor in economics. He received a masters of business administration from Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business in 2003.
