Well known for her nearly 20 years of day spa work in the area, Veni Chernev is joining Dr. Eugenie Brunner’s staff to offer a high level of skin care services to patients.

Chernev is board certified as a skin care specialist and esthetician. Raised in Bulgaria, she is a graduate of the College of Medical Esthetics.

“Veni has many strong points, including a mastery of different types of facials for very specific skin issues and needs,” noted Dr. Brunner. “These include facials for acne, pigment irregularities and rosacea. She’ll also be performing peels, microdermabrasion, ultrasound infusion, waxing and electrolysis.”

Dr. Brunner has always been a big proponent of proper skin preparation and care before and after laser treatments and surgery. This could include pre-treatment exfoliation, cream applications to tone down pigment irritations such as sunspots and pregnancy “mask,” specific augmentations for rosacea, acne and melasma (hyper pigmentation) and more.

“Skin can be very delicate after some laser treatments,” Dr. Brunner added. “Veni has the knowledge to sooth the skin and recommend ongoing regimes, including a good sun block.”

Dr. Brunner’s practice focuses on using as many natural alternatives as possible in treatment to aid lymphatic drainage and minimize bruising, swelling and redness. Chernev is adept at topically imparting arnica montana, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants for great results.

“With the addition of Veni to the practice, we really are the facial rejuvenation and skin care experts in the area,” Dr. Brunner noted. “It’s our specialty.”

Dr. Brunner is well qualified to treat patients with surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures. She’s board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery. In addition to non-surgical techniques, Dr. Brunner specializes in facelifts and rhinoplasty.

Her Skin Rejuvenation Laser Center allows her to treat all aspects of skin rejuvenation such as spider veins, rosacea, age spots, melasma, sun damage, acne scarring and wrinkles. To learn more, visit Dr. Brunner on the web at www.brunnermd.com or call 609-921-9497.
