With offices in Lawrenceville and East Windsor, Delaware Valley OBGYN & Infertility Group offers women a unique combination of practitioners for a wide variety of needs throughout a woman’s life span: obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives and fertility specialists.

The practice includes seven OB/GYNs, four certified nurse midwives and two fertility specialists. They perform advanced gynecologic surgeries at University Medical Center at Princeton (UMCP) and Capital Health System hospitals in Trenton, and deliver babies at UMCP.

One of the unique aspects of Delaware Valley OBGYN & Infertility Group is the number of doctors on staff who perform Da Vinci® surgery, which uses a “surgical robot” to handle difficult laparoscopic procedures such as hysterectomy and myomectomy (uterine fibroids). Using these modern procedures means less postoperative pain and a quicker recovery. The doctors at Delaware Valley pride themselves on staying at the cutting edge of their specialty.

Having four certified nurse midwives on staff also is an advantage as more and more women today are seeking a holistic birthing experience. Princeton Midwifery Care’s midwives approach childbirth from the perspective that childbirth is a natural part of life, not an illness. This allows patients to have a more natural experience. Since the deliveries are done at UMCP, Princeton Midwifery Care patients have the best of both worlds: the natural approach of the midwifery model, the safety of having 24/7 physician back-up, and the option for medical pain relief.

For those having difficulty conceiving, Delaware Valley OBGYN & Infertility Group offers fellowship-trained fertility specialists who provide the full spectrum of testing and treatment for couples with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. As a comprehensive fertility program, most services are available on site.

Having infertility specialists and an IVF lab right in the area is a real boon for patients in the Princeton area who are having trouble having a family. In fact, Princeton IVF laboratory, a cooperative effort between Delaware Valley and UMCP, just opened a brand new state of the art IVF lab right on site. Designed with clean-room technology, a state of the art ventilation system and special eco-sensitive building materials, it will help countless couples achieve their dreams of pregnancy.

What the doctors and midwives at Delaware Valley OBGYN and Infertility Group are really most proud about is their patient-friendly atmosphere. They understand that going to the doctor’s office can be stressful and go out of their way to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

From adolescence, through infertility, childbirth, menopause and beyond, the physicians, midwives, fertility specialists and staff at Delaware Valley OBGYN & Infertility Group pride themselves on giving patients top quality, high tech treatments in a warm and comfortable setting.
