Carolyn Foote Edelmann served as U.S. 1’s Nature reporter, specializing in nearby nature sites, on ‘Foote’ and by kayak. History and art were also key themes. Carolyn has lived in and near Princeton since autumn, 1968.

The first member of the community to be admitted into advanced poetry with Princeton University’s Continuing Education program, she was gifted with spectacular mentors: Ted Weiss, Galway Kinnell, and Stanley Plumly.

Co-founder, with Betty Lies, of Princeton’s Cool Women Poets, her most recent poetic publication and readings involved Cool Women, Volume VII, and U.S.1 [Poets] Worksheet.
