Tony Calabrese teaches the top transitional tactics for career advancement at “Strategies and Tactics for Career Development,” a PSG of Mercer County presentation hosted at Princeton Public Library, at 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, on Friday, September 22, from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

Calabrese is the founder of Absolute Transitions LLC, a Maplewood-based coaching organization specializing in “job search strategy and career changes.” His presentation will emphasize the need to embrace both short- and long-term solutions in the workplace.

No registration is required for the free, in-person event. For more information, see the PPL event page at princetonlibrary.org/ppl-events or the PSG website at psgofmercercounty.org/p/event-calendar.html.

Calabrese is also a certified career coach with GetFive, a “modern outplacement and career management company” that pairs coaches with individuals to help them take “a strategic and research-based approach to their job search” through a “5-Step Method” of “reignite, retool, reach, relate, and reinforce.”

He also serves as an outplacement coach and consultant for Careerminds, which merged with GetFive in February of this year, to assist clients with resumes and goal setting.

Calabrese is an iPEC-accredited coach whose other roles include REA – Partners in Transition in Basking Ridge, where he provides “acclimation assistance to accompanying spouses of employees whose companies move them to the New Jersey or New York area.”

Calabrese previously worked as a programmer for Prudential Financial for 30 years, where he rose to the position of director of financial systems.
