Nonprofits’ Contest
Ericsson Internet and Wireless Solutions will donate $100,000to five winners of the Ericsson Internet Community Award (ERICA) contest.Community-based non-profits with philanthropic Internet programs canapply by Monday, July 17, for up to $100,000 in Web development servicesand assistance.Any non-profit, regardless of size or budget, is encouraged to applyin any of these categories: arts and culture, economic/workforce development,education/lifelong learning, environment/natural resources, health/humanservices, public safety/emergency relief, and recreation and sports.Online applications and examples of other entries are available at(www.ericsson.com/erica).Entries will be judged on innovation, feasibility, project purpose,and community building potential. “ERICA aims to help non-profitsuse the Internet to realize their missions and share visionary ideasfor community building in today’s technology-driven world,” saysLars Stalberg of Ericcson.
