Developing Your Personal Leadership Vision

What does it take to be an efficient, communicative leader — or in terms of your work, what does it take to be perceived as one? The Princeton Public Library, together with PSG of Mercer County, have called on People Intell Institute managing partners Mike Palestina and Maggie Pazian once more to present “Job Seekers: Developing Your Personal Leadership Vision,” on Friday, December 2, from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

Registration for the free event is available online at the PSG of Mercer County’s events calendar, psgofmercercounty.org/p/event-calendar. Attendees can choose whether to participate in person at PPL’s Community Room or remotely through GoToMeeting.

After a 15-minute networking session, Palestina and Pazian start off with how “to help attendees develop a personal leadership vision that focuses on action, provides direction, and inspires stakeholders,” according to the PPL website. This interactive engagement will guide individuals in establishing their best selves, as well as explain to others what you, as an ideal leader, would want to achieve.

Palestina and Pazian founded the People Intell Institute, which “offers coaching, training, and consulting using the best leading research and knowledge on emotional awareness and skills,” back in 2013. The two have publicly stated their dedication to applying scientific research to matters of the human mind and heart, the behaviors that follow, and how all of that can inevitably impact an individual’s success in the business world.

“A useful personal leadership vision is one that focuses on action, provides direction, inspires your stakeholders, and provides a compelling image of an achievable future,” the PSG calendar says, with “conscious daily reflection” useful to help complete that vision.

Pazian received both her bachelor’s in communication and her master’s in organizational communication from Rutgers University. She is also a certified professional coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence’s Energy Leadership program.

Palestina is a certified executive coach, leadership consultant, and facilitator. He received his bachelor’s in business administration from William Paterson University and has spent more than 15 years assisting professionals in senior or executive level positions.
