The Princeton Public Library’s weekly Job Seekers presentations, offered in partnership with the Professional Services Group of Mercer County, continue with Jennifer L. Smith’s “A Leadership Mindset for Success” on Friday, January 27, from 9:45 a.m. to noon in the PPL Community Room.
Smith is the CEO, founder, and strategic advisor of Growth Potential Consulting, a consulting firm based in Princeton. According to her biography on the group’s website, she started her career at a reinsurance company before switching to professional development and helping “thousands of leaders across five continents and fourteen industries” shine through her coaching.
In “Passionate Leaders Create a Ripple Effect on Society,” a 2022 TEDxBabsonCollege speech available on YouTube, Smith talks about the importance of following your most fitting purpose. After graduating from Grambling State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Smith changed her initial path and earned a master’s degree in organizational development and human resources from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
At Princeton Public Library, Smith will explain “how a leadership mindset plays a critical role in resilience and positioning yourself for your desired success.”
