Busting Higher Education Myths

Admissions scandals, high costs, out-of-state migration, free college for all. Worthless majors, unemployed graduates, student in debt, teachers fighting for tenure. People talk about college a lot these days, but the discussion is often based on anecdote, speculation, and the words of politicians looking to get elected first and figure out how to make good on their promises after.

At the Princeton Mercer Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming meeting on Thursday, September 5, 2019, Kathryn A. Foster, president of The College of New Jersey and a long-time leader in higher education, (U.S. 1, August 22, 2018) will unravel some of the mystery and address some of the misconceptions about higher education in New Jersey and beyond.

The talk will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Princeton Marriott. Tickets are $75, $50 for members. For more information, visit princetonmercerchamber.org.
