Borders Closing Its Nassau Park Store

Share post:

The message came not from a company press release, but from that of a poet — Borders Books & Music in Nassau Park is closing in January, and all events in November and December have been canceled. According to the company, Borders’ lease expires at the end of the year and will not be renewed.

Word of the closing of Borders’ Nassau Park location came from Joseph Longino, president of Delaware Valley Poets, which often hosted readings at the store.
