AARP Tax-Aide Sites Open in Princeton

The Mercer County Tax-Aide program, which provides free tax preparation services, has reopened a site at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton on Saturdays after a hiatus of two years.

IRS-trained volunteers will prepare and file federal and state tax returns Saturday mornings through April 15. Taxpayers should arrive between 9 and 11 a.m. at the church, 61 Nassau St. No appointment is necessary. Filers should bring a copy of their 2021 return, if possible.

The program serves all ages and primarily focuses on taxpayers of low- and moderate income.

The Nassau Presbyterian Church site welcomes Spanish-speaking taxpayers.

Two additional Tax-Aide sites also operate in Princeton, by appointment only:

• Mondays at Princeton Public Library, 65 Witherspoon Street, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 609-924-9529 extension 1220 for an appointment.

• Fridays at Princeton Senior Resource Center’s Suzanne Patterson Center, behind the former Borough Hall, 45 Stockton Street, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 609-751-9699 for an appointment.
