Call for Artists

The Arts Council of Princeton’s annual Sauce for the Goose holiday market, set for November 30 through December 2, is still looking for artists and crafters to sell ceramics, glassware, ornaments, jewelry, textiles, and other fine art. Audition

The Center Playhouse hosts auditions for “Butterflies are Free” on Saturday, December 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. Callbacks will be held Sunday, December 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. Bring a headshot and resume. The Villagers Theatre seeks two men and one woman for its production of “Speed the Plow.” Auditions are Friday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 20, at 7 p.m. Visit www.villagerstheatre.com.

Call for Submissions

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart is seeking proposals from young women in high school, educators, and experts for the third annual #LEADLIKEAGIRL: A Conference for Risk-Takers and Changemakers. The 2019 conference will take place over two days: Friday, April 5 for girls in grades K-4, and Saturday, April 6, for grades 5-12. Proposals for the Business Fair, STEM Talks, workshops, presentations, and panel discussions must be submitted by Saturday, December 22. Cash prizes totaling $10,000 will be awarded to young women in high school. #LEADLIKEAGIRL is a free conference designed to showcase and inspire girls’ confidence and creativity in STEM, entrepreneurism, and leadership. Donate

La Convivencia is accepting donations of personal care items to benefit RISE and Arm in Arm. Needed items include lotion, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, hairbrushes, and diapers. Call for Films

Creators can submit work to the 2019 Garden State Film Festival. Accepted submissions include feature films, short films, screenplays, move music, and web series. Deadline for submissions is Saturday, December 1. Visit www.gsff.org for more information.
