Morven Museum & Garden in Princeton stepped out in style with its annual Morven in May preview party on Friday, May 1. The $125 a head Max Hansen-catered event was the official opening of a weekend that included a juried exhibition and sale of contemporary American-made fine craft as well as a heirloom plant sale.

Among the 35 participating artisans were basket maker and 2008 MacArthur Fellow Mary Jackson of Charleston, South Carolina; glass artist Martin Kremer of Pound Ridge, New York; and decorative porcelain sculptor Katherine Houston of Boston. Proceeds from the weekend are dedicated to support Morven’s exhibitions, educational programs, and garden.
