Jewish Community Center Gets a Gift

The Jewish Community Campus has received a major gift from a Hopewell family. Matthew and Staci Wilson and their children made the donation of an undisclosed amount to the campus, which will be named in their honor.

The Matthew & Staci Wilson Jewish Community Campus will be the name for the 81-acre campus off Clarksville Road. The site’s teen lounge will be named the Ari, Noah, & Sari Wilson Teen Lounge after the couple’s three children.

“This gift will allow us to start the project as soon as we have all of our township approvals,” said Ron Berman, the JCC co-chair. “But we still will need to raise additional funds to pay for the entire project once it is completed.”

JCC Executive Director Drew Staffenberg said that the major gift brings the JCC “another giant step closer to building the campus.”

Wilson was an executive on Wall Street and in the hedge fund industry for much of the past 15 years. He is currently involved in early-stage investments, real estate investments, teaching, and philanthropy, according to the JCC.
