Business & Golf: How to Succeed In Both

Steve Scott, PGA Head Golf Professional at the Ridge at Back Brook, will give an informative presentation focusing on techniques, tips, and peak performance for golf and business at the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Before Business breakfast on Wednesday, April 15, at 7:30 a.m. at the Nassau Club, 6 Mercer Street. The meeting will begin with registration and networking followed by breakfast and the program and will adjourn at 9:15 a.m. Cost to attend is $20 for Chamber Members and $30 for non-members. “You need a competitive edge to achieve succeed in sports. When you attend the April 15 breakfast meeting you will find out what that competitive edge is and you will learn to apply the same formula in your business,” says Peter Crowley, Chamber President and CEO.

Steve Scott’s impressive tournament experience includes recognition as the 1996 U.S. amateur runner-up to Tiger Woods at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland, Oregon. Scott’s experience includes working as an on-course commentator for the Golf Channel and also as a TV personality on two golf-related shows. He was a golf instructor for Golf Digest Instructional School at PGA National in Palm Beach, Florida.

Scott was a member of the University of Florida golf team and received a bachelor’s in communications from Florida Atlantic University. A member of the PGA, Scott completed the entire PGA PGM Program in 17 months. He was mentored by Hall of Fame golf instructor Bob Toski, who taught him to become a better touring professional and to concisely explain, diagnose, and correct swing flaws in his students.
