— Elane Gutterman

Elane Gutterman conveys the different perceptions of the swastika in Eastern and Western countries in the form of a braided poem, a pantoum. Lines expressing the former perspective start at the margin, while lines describing the latter are indented.

She is a founding Board member and current Literary Committee Chair of West Windsor Arts. Her first poetry book, Tides of Expectation, was published by Kelsay Books (2022).
