Dr. Lekha Tull and her staff at Princeton Dental Associates take pride in everything they do to help you have the best smile. Her office uses computer-assisted dentistry to provide advanced dentistry care to their patients, which results in more accurate and faster treatments.

At Princeton Dental Associates, they are convinced the better you understand your own dental health, the better you will be at maintaining it and the better dental health decisions you will be able to make. Regular exams are the key to good dental health. Cleanings and regular check-ups are scheduled twice a year (once every six months) and always include VELscope Oral Cancer Screening. Studies have shown that when caught early, oral cancer has an 80 to 90 percent cure rate, but only 35 percent of oral cancer is caught early. The system is painless and non-invasive, consisting of blue light that causes normal tissue to reflect green light, and abnormal tissue to show dark.

Through the use of computer guided implant placements, crowns and bridges are done in only one visit, making it possible for you to enjoy life sooner. The crowns and bridges are metal-free, which results in a more natural smile. The crowns and bridges are bonded to the teeth.

Princeton Dental Associates uses digital X-rays, which expose patients to 90 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. The images can be instantly magnified on the computer screen to better show patients areas of concern and are environmentally friendly.

One of Dr. Tull’s areas of expertise is providing alternatives to CPAP treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). As a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), Dr. Tull recognizes that OSA is one of the most severely under-diagnosed conditions today. It is estimated that 90 percent of those who suffer from OSA have not been diagnosed or treated. Studies have linked OSA to serious conditions such as stroke, heart attack, diabetes, GERD, dementia, weight gain, and hypertension. Common symptoms include snoring, waking in the morning feeling un-refreshed, difficulty falling or staying asleep, excessive daytime sleepiness and difficulty concentrating, waking up choking or gasping for air, and morning or night time headaches.
