Dr. Alexander Kanevsky: Combining Eastern and Western Medicine

Dr. Alexander Kanevsky, MD, combines 3,000 years of knowledge and experience of Eastern Medicine with the achievements of the Western Medical Sciences of biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, anatomy, histology, and physiology forthwith his own expertise in Surgical Oncology, Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, Traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic, and Tibetan Medicine throughout several decades of practicing.

In his diagnostic evaluation Dr. Kanevsky examines the colors and lines of a patient’s complexion, wherewith diseases of human body reflect upon the face, tongue, and anterolateral aspect of the forearm; palpates 12 Cunkou and Renying pulses to determine the condition of the body’s vital organs, and uses Western medicine’s traditional methods of physical examination.

Dr. Kanevsky’s treatments combine body therapy with herbal and nutritional therapies, psychotherapy, and exercise therapy.

In body therapy he uses a combination of acupressure, acutapping, stone needle, moxibustion, cupping, and massage, and performs his own unique method of non-surgical radical reconstruction of the spinal column.

For each patient Dr. Kanevsky makes herbal decoctions, tinctures, ointments, syrups, pastes and powdered drinks, which formulas are determined by his most recent findings of the patient’s dynamic forces within organs and systems.

Of psychotherapies Dr. Kanevsky performs Western psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and supportive modalities along with the Eastern elements of Kundalini, Chakra, Gong Fa Lun Da Fa therapies, Shao Lin Mu Shu meditation, and his own transcendental body-loosing meditation.

Of the exercises that Dr. Kanevsky introduces to his patients he especially favors Shao Lin Wu Shu, Qi Gong, and Korean Amma, modified and advanced by his own studies and development, amplified within the walls of the Shao Lin Temple of China where Dr. Kanevsky lived as a Kung Fu monk.

Dr. Kanevsky, using his own method, treats any condition of the human body including diseases considered incurable in Eastern and Western Medicine, exemplified by terminal cancer, advanced Lupus Erythematosis, prolonged coma, paralysis, progressive dementia, autoimmune diseases involving vital organs, and protracted autism.

Dr. Kanevsky instructs his patients on the nuances of physical, nutritional, and recreational activities that correlate with specific daily natural biorhythms to preserve optimal performance of the body’s Yin and Yang energies, thus sustaining the indefatigable immune system and inexorable balance of internal organs with nutritional and defensive energies.

Over the course of treatment Dr. Kanevsky tightly monitors and brings into timely balancing the most immediate deviations of a patient’s stability of health.
