The only performances of American Repertory Ballet’s Nutcracker featuring a live orchestra and the Princeton Girl Choir are coming soon! State Theatre New Jersey presents five performances: Friday, December 21, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 22, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, December 23, at 1 and 5 p.m.

American Repertory Ballet (ARB) brings the beloved classic Nutcracker to the stage with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, stunning sets, thrilling choreography, and a cast of more than 100 performers. A holiday tradition for more than 50 years, ARB’s is one of the longest continuously running Nutcracker productions in the nation and the State Theatre performances are one of the only productions to include both a live orchestra and Princeton Girlchoir.

American Repertory Ballet has been performing its Nutcracker at State Theatre New Jersey for more than 30 years. Directed by Artistic Director Douglas Martin, ARB’s professional company will be joined by students from Princeton Ballet School to tell the story of a young girl named Clara and how a mysterious gift from her Uncle Drosselmeyer bring about enchanted dreams and fantastical scenes

For tickets, call 732-246-SHOW (7469) or online at STNJ.org. State Theatre New Jersey is located at 15 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick.
