Diamond’s Restaurant is more than just an award-winning restaurant.

Diamond’s has always been a must-visit oasis for incredible Italian meals, be it during the glory days of Chambersburg or in its new Pennington location.

But the brother ownership team of Anthony and Tommy Zucchetti, who opened in 1982 in Trenton, is spreading the word that Diamond’s has become more than just a place for great lunches and dinners. Now located at 25 Route 31 South, Diamond’s has become a headquarters to get some serious work done in its array of private rooms, as well as an oasis to unwind after work with its popular happy hour.

Aside from the main dining room, which seats 100, Diamond’s has four more rooms for private parties and events. The Chevy Room seats 16, the Ruby Room holds 38 seated/60 standing, the Sapphire Room holds 64/90, and the Wine Room holds 36/60.

These rooms can be used for affairs such as engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, showers, funeral luncheons, birthday parties, and anything else one wishes to commemorate.

The numerous businesses along the Route 1 corridor may also wish to utilize these spaces, as they can transform from celebratory to serious. Each room is perfect for corporate workshops and conferences. All the necessary work tools are available, such as Internet connection, presentation screens, visual aids and anything else needed.

“You can control your own sound,” Tommy Zucchetti said. “Whatever you want to accomplish, you can get it done.”

Food and drink packages are on tap at any event, be it parties or corporate.

There are two luncheon deals of $19.94 and $39.95 per person, with the latter including wine and beer. Six different dinner packages range from the $39.95 Bronze Dinner to the $98.42 Ultimate Package. The Bronze includes a choice of one salad, one pasta, three entrees, and one dessert. The Ultimate Package features beer, wine, a selection of six appetizers, one salad, one pasta, three entrees, and one dessert from an expansive, mouth-watering menu. All packages include potato, vegetable, baked bread, coffee, tea, and soda.

The delectable meals are highlighted by prime cuts of meat, fresh daily seafood, and Italian dishes made with imported products from Italy.

For those wishing to unwind after a tough day of work, there is the new “Fab Five” Happy Hour. Running Monday through Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., the five hours of happiness offers $5 drinks and $5 food.

Choose beverages such as Skyy Martinis and cocktails, house wines by CK Mondavi, and all beers and IPAs, including Yuengling, Stella Artois, Brooklyn Lager, Victory Hop Devil, Peroni, Blue Moon and Seasonal. CJ Mondavi Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and White Zinfandel, Belmondo Pinot Grigio and Piccini Chianti. The food menu features Philly cheesesteak and New Orleans shrimp crepes, Chicen Scamorza, mini meatballs, water chestnuts wrapped in bacon, arancini, tuna crudo, panelle gorgonzola, stuffed peppadew peppers, filet mignon tips over crustini, a raw bar and prosciutto and bocacino skewer.

In addition, there is a $29.95 champagne jazz brunch on Sundays, which offers a three-course meal and complimentary split of champagne to enjoy while listening to the music of Bob Smith and the Lamplighters.

So while Diamond’s continues to be one of the top dinner destinations in Mercer County, it has also become so much more than just a restaurant.
