The mainstream media regularly turn to Dr. Connolly to educate consumers about skin care and skin cancer prevention. He was one of the first dermatologists to leverage social media, including YouTube, to help educate the widest possible audience about skin conditions and cancer. Connolly Dermatology, with locations in Linwood, Barnegat and Cape May Court House, is ranked among the top one percent of providers in the United States for dermatology.

“The skin is the largest organ of the body and has so many important functions, including protection from the elements and regulating body temperature; and yet, many people tend to neglect the skin.” We want to increase awareness that maintaining your skin’s health is vital to your overall well being.

One in five patients develops skin cancer in their lifetime. It’s important to have the skin examined on a regular basis because early skin cancer detection greatly increases your chance of full recovery. Dr. Connolly offers MelaFind, a new, innovative, optical scanning device that aids in the detection of melanoma at the earliest, most curable stage. Prevention is paramount. One should always practice sun protection and schedule regular visits to the dermatologist.

Cosmetic Dermatology: In addition to the medical-based conditions treated at Connolly Dermatology, the practice offers a full range of cosmetic treatments performed by Dr. Connolly and his medical team.

Prior to undergoing any treatment, Connolly’s team provides a comprehensive skin analysis utilizing state-of-the-art imaging. The result is a new individualized skin care regimen to keep patients looking and feeling their best. Procedures offered at Connolly Dermatology include facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peel treatments. Laser therapy for unwanted hair, blotchy red skin, and age spots is offered. Options for wrinkle reduction include, Botox, Juvederm and LAVIV, to name a few.

In the age of spa and medi-spa proliferation, a true clinical dermatologist can be difficult to find. One needs an expert who will treat the entire person in addition to offering sound cosmetic advice.
