Dr. Doris Hahn Offers a Natural, Gentle Touch
In October, 2013, after 14 years of practice, Dr. Doris Hahn, a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, moved Back in Action Chiropractic to 1330 Parkway Avenue in Ewing, not far from her former location.
Dr. Hahn’s new office has more space to be able to take care of all of your chiropractic needs using techniques that range from straight adjustments to laser therapy. She has a decompression table for cervical and lumbar disc herniations/bulges. Her staff is very friendly and family oriented, with a special playroom for the kids to keep them busy while parents get their adjustments.
Dr. Hahn treats the entire family, including children, pregnant women, and seniors. Care for children is tailored based on their age and weight and requires a gentler touch. Adjustments received at an early age help prevent spinal misalignments and irritated nerves later in life.
Back in Action Chiropractic uses a natural approach to help pregnant women feel good and can reduce any aches and pains they have safely and without medicine. Dr. Hahn uses the Webster Technique to turn breech babies in-utero. It is a very safe and simple technique and has a 90 percent success rate, enabling women to avoid C-sections and prevent complications that can happen with breech births.
Dr. Hahn cares for seniors with a gentle touch, helping to reduce the symptoms of arthritis and degenerative joint disease. She has special hydraulic tables for their comfort.
For the past year and a half, Dr. Hahn has been using K-Laser Therapy to treat many conditions including Sciatica, plantar fasciitis, neck, low back, elbow, and knee pain, to name a few. The technique uses specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to get deep into the tissue. The damaged tissue is drawn to the light, and the nerve endings are stimulated. In Dr. Hahn’s experience, this technique helps patients heal quicker from strains, sprains, and other injuries.
Laser Therapy has been used widely in Europe since the 1970s and received FDA clearance in 2002. There are no other chiropractic offices in the area using this technique. Dr. Hahn describes it as “a very soothing treatment, and one where we receive pretty quick results.” Other benefits of this treatment are that it reduces the time to heal, does not require the use of drugs or surgery, and there are no adverse side effects or risks. It is a quick and convenient method of curing pain.
Back in Action accepts most insurance and credit cards. Please call the office directly for more information. Dr. Hahn has office hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
