If the foundation splits as the sisters wish, two-thirds of the assets could be diverted and grants reduced or eliminated for any of the charities now receiving them.
The foundation includes many national charities, but for Princeton alone the grantee list ranges from the Princeton Healthcare System (which got $100,000 this year for a total of $500,000 over five years, paying for the new Curtis W. McGraw Laboratory) to the choral group Voices (which got $1,000).
