Those of you who are linked online directly to our events database may also want to stop by our home page once in a while. This week is a case in point.
Just in time for this week’s Congressional elections, our home page at www.princetoninfo.com reprised our coverage of the Rush Holt-Scott Sipprelle race and — in the spirit of news you can use — noted the time and locations of the candidates’ victory parties. Of course there can’t be two victory parties. So sometime soon (we hope) after the polls close PrincetonInfo.com will report the results.
Why bother? some of you may ask. It’s true that in this case most of you will get your news from the established media.
But in other instances, the established media will never connect the dots that link to our corner of the world. For example: What do the critics think of the new play at McCarter? PrincetonInfo.com links to the review published in U.S. 1, as you would expect, and also to reviews printed in the New York Times, the Star-Ledger, the Home News Tribune, and several online news organizations.
As our editor notes in his anniversary column, we still believe in print, but we are not ignoring the online world. Your comments on either side of our operation are welcome.
