Call for Auditions

ActorsNET is holding open auditions for two upcoming shows. All auditions and performances are being held at ActorsNET, 635 North Delmorr Avenue, Morrisville, Pennsylvania, and will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides will be provided. Make an appointment and fill out an audition form, available online, and bring a hardcopy of your theatrical resume to the audition.

First is “The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley,” by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, a companion play to “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley” that explores the confines of class and the generosity of forgiveness. Performances are Fridays through Sundays, December 1 through 17.

Auditions take place Sunday and Monday, October 15 and 16, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Tuesday, October 17, at 7 p.m.

Auditions are also being held for “The Outsider,” by Paul Slade Smith, about Ned, a policy nerd thrust into the role of governor. He is a terrible politician, but one man believes the public may just be looking for the worst candidate to ever run for public office. Performances are Fridays through Sundays, January 19 through February 4, 2024.

Auditions are being held Saturday, October 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, October 24, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Saturday, October 28, at 10 a.m.

All actors and production staff must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and will be required to show their vaccination card at the time of audition.
