Emotional IQ

Thank you for publishing such a wonderful article about my emotional intelligence workshop at Mercer County Community College (U.S. 1, April 12). Your writer, Jack Florek, must have a very high EI IQ. He took what seemed to me to be disjointed comments and created a coherent whole so people could benefit whether they attended or not.

He was also able to present the information in such a way that people saw the workshop as relevant: 12 extra people signed up, from a state policeman involved in training to someone working in nonprofit marketing. Having such diversity in the group enhanced all our awareness. Marge Smith
