Auditions Open For Summer Shows

Bucks County Playhouse is holding auditions for its Playhouse Institute Summer Conservatory, a five-week performance program for students ages 13 to 18.

The program runs July 6 through Aug. 7 and uses acting, movement, music and devised theater to create an original performance inspired by “The Odyssey.”

Auditions are scheduled by appointment May 29. The program gives students a chance to build performance skills while working with theater professionals in a summer conservatory setting.For more information go to bcptheater.org.

Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College has June auditions for several upcoming productions presented by resident and partner theater companies.

Maurer Productions OnStage and Maurer TheaterWorks will hold auditions for “Midnight at the New Dawn,” an original ensemble comedy written and directed by Dan Maurer, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 6 and 7. Callbacks, including vocal auditions, are scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. June 9.

Playful Theatre Productions will hold auditions for “Wonderland,” the Frank Wildhorn musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s “Alice” stories. Auditions for young actors for the roles of Chloe and The Girl are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 6. Adult auditions are scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. June 10 and 11, with callbacks by invitation June 13.

Off-Centre Stages will hold auditions for “Little Women: The Broadway Musical” from noon to 5 p.m. June 14 and 6 to 9 p.m. June 15. Callbacks are scheduled by invitation beginning at noon June 20.

Auditions will be held on the Mercer County Community College West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor.

Voorhees Theatre Company will hold auditions for “Sis ter Act,” the musical comedy based on the 1992 film about a nightclub singer who enters witness protection in a convent.

Auditions are open to adult performers and students in grade 9 and above as of fall 2026. Auditioners should prepare 16 to 32 bars of a Broadway-style song that best showcases their range and ability and should be prepared to dance.

Auditions are scheduled for May 26 and 27, with callbacks May 28. Rehearsals begin June 22, and performances are scheduled for Aug. 6 through 8.

Brundage Park Playhouse in Randolph will hold auditions for “Anything Goes,” the Cole Porter musical set aboard an ocean liner.

The theater is seeking performers ages 18 and older. Auditioners should prepare a 32-bar cut from the show or another musical theater selection.

Auditions are scheduled for May 30 and June 1, with callbacks June 6. Performances are scheduled for Aug. 21 through 23 and Aug. 28 through 30.
