Middlesex County will host a webinar for local businesses interested in participating in a FIFA World Cup-related marketing and rewards platform.

The Middlesex County Office of Business Engagement will host a free informational webinar on the Welcome World Rewards Program on Wednesday, May 13, at 3 p.m.

According to event materials, the Welcome World Rewards Program is the official small business platform of the FIFA World Cup 2026 NYNJ Host Committee and is designed to connect visitors and fans with local businesses during the tournament.

The digital rewards platform will allow participating businesses to promote themselves to visitors attending World Cup events in the region. Eligible businesses include those in retail, food service, hospitality, entertainment, and other service industries.

The webinar will cover how businesses can complete the enrollment process, improve their listings, and prepare for increased visibility during the tournament.

Event materials state that businesses participating in the program may benefit from increased foot traffic and exposure through the platform.

The session will also include a question-and-answer segment focused on enrollment and participation issues.

Officials encourge interested businesses to enroll in the Welcome World Rewards Program before the May 15 deadline.
