Small businesses can access new tools and strategies during National Small Business Week.
The U.S. Small Business Administration will host a free virtual summit May 5-6, offering workshops, networking opportunities, and access to federal resources for entrepreneurs and business owners across the country.
The two-day online event, co-sponsored by America’s Small Business Development Center, will feature a wide range of sessions focused on practical business challenges, including access to capital, use of artificial intelligence, fraud prevention, hiring, and long-term growth strategies.
Sessions will include guidance on using AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity, strategies for securing financing and becoming “bankable,” and advice on writing stronger proposals to compete for contracts.
Additional programs will address staffing, compensation trends, and how businesses can adapt to changing market conditions.
The summit will also include sessions on business continuity, risk management, and connectivity, reflecting the growing need for small businesses to remain flexible and resilient in an evolving economic environment.
Organizers say the program is designed to provide practical, actionable information that business owners can apply immediately.
In addition to workshops, the event will offer opportunities for networking and mentorship, connecting small business owners with experts, service providers, and peers.
Since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized small businesses as key drivers of the U.S. economy. The annual observance includes both virtual and in-person events nationwide, highlighting the role of entrepreneurs in job creation, innovation, and local economic growth.
Participation in the virtual summit is free, but registration is required.
