Prominent Investor Geoff Yang to Visit Biolabs

Geoff Yang, cofounder of Redpoint Ventures and founder and principal of LaneOne, will discuss trends in tech investing on Thursday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m. at the Princeton Innovation Center Biolabs at 303A College Road East. Among the many companies Yang has backed companies since their founding are Ask.com, MySpace, and TiVo. He currently serves on the boards of Redpoint portfolio companies Electric Imp, Scribd, TasteMade, and Victorious; as well as AT&T, Esquel Group, and Franklin Resources (Franklin Templeton Funds).

Currently chair of the Princeton Entrepreneurship Council Alumni Advisory Board, Yang has served as director of the National Venture Capital Association, president of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists, and a member of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee for the United States. He has also served as a member of the Advisory Council for the Stanford Graduate School of Business and chairman of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.
