Ernesto Zedillo, who served as president of Mexico from 1994 to 2000, will give a public lecture at Princeton University on Thursday, December 6, at 4:30 p.m. in Arthur Lewis Auditorium, Robertson Hall. Speaking on globalization in the times of political and academic populism, Zedillo will be introduced by Princeton president Christopher L. Eisgruber.
Zedillo currently serves as the chairman of the board of the Natural Resource Governance Institute, the 21st Century Advisory Council of the Berggruen Institute on Governance, and co-chair of the Inter-American Dialogue. He serves on the Global Commission on Drug Policy and is a member of the Elders, an independent group of global leaders using their collective experience and influence for peace, justice, and human rights worldwide. Zedillo also is a member of the G30 and the board of directors of the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
Zedillo serves as a professor and director of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization.
