Preparing for the Age of Automation

Share post:

Will jobs as we know it be automated out of existence? Some technologists think that improvements in artificial intelligence and robotics will bring about an “age of automation” where many existing careers will be taken over by machines. This may be a problem (or opportunity) that our children face.

Lakshman Kannan, a partner with PwC, will discuss how to prepare children for the age of automation at the Princeton Tech Meetup gathering on Thursday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Princeton Public Library. Tickets are $5. Visit www.meetup.com/Princeton-Tech.

Kannan focuses on risk technology at PwC, specializing in retail consumer financial products. He previously led consumer compliance technology at EY. He has a bachelor’s from the University of Madras and an MBA from Rutgers.
