Online Spot for Banking Jobs

The New Jersey Bankers Association, the area’s largest trade association for commercial banks, located at 4365 Route 1 South, recently launched its online Career Center at www.njbankers.org for those seeking work in the banking industry. NJBankers members and nonmembers can access the Career Center using the same login name and password used to access the rest of the site.

According to Tim Doherty, NJBankers’ director of communications, Career Center distinguishes itself from generalist job boards by zeroing in on industry-specific jobs. The site allows anonymous resume posting and job applications, which let jobseekers keep control over confidential information and offers alerts.

For employers, Career Center allows members to post a job for 30 days for $100. Employers can manage their job posting and candidate sourcing processes and track their job postings. The site requires them to pay for a resume only when contact is made and the candidate indicates interest in the position.

Jobseekers can search for free. Live support is available at 888-575-WORK (9675). E-mail support is also available. Support contact information may be found at the bottom of the Career Center page. The new job board, powered by JobTarget, can be found at www.njbankers.org.
