Church & Dwight, the consumer products maker headquartered in the Princeton South Corporate Center, has made its CFO, Matthew T. Farrell, COO as well. “The board of directors is extremely pleased to have Matt Farrell assume this broader leadership position within the company. Matt has a superb track record in his current role as CFO and brings terrific depth of knowledge of our organization and industry to his new position. In his new role Matt will lead all line functions along with the finance organization, allowing me to focus more time on long term corporate strategy and accretive mergers and acquisitions,” CEO Jim Craigie said in a statement.

Thomas George, 96, on October 21. George, the Princeton-based son of world-famous cartoonist Rube Goldberg, was himself an artist well known for his drawings and paintings. A gathering of friends is planned for next spring at the Institute for Advanced Study.
Jude Rich, 71, on November 6. He was president and CEO of Sibson & Company, the management consulting firm that worked for most companies in the Fortune 100. Rich pioneered the development of stock option-based incentive plans for corporate leaders.
Hugh E. White, 81, on November 9. An engineer, White contributed to the development of high-definition TV at the Sarnoff Research Center. A service will be held Friday, November 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 80 West Broad Street.
