Nominations Wanted

The Edison Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual Edison Outstanding Awards to be held in June.

Nominations, which can be submitted by anyone, should consist of a brief explanation of 350 words or fewer describing why the person, company, or group should be recognized for their accomplishments. The deadline is Friday, March 1.

To view the list of previous award winners, go to www.EdisonChamber.com. Categories include outstanding business; outstanding entrepreneur, outstanding student/young entrepreneur; outstanding veteran business; citizen of the year; and educator of the year.

A new category added this year is the Hurricane Sandy Relief Award that will recognize individuals or groups for their volunteer efforts during the recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
