As the summer ends, we look forward to autumn and the Chamber’s favorite activities that take place during this time of the year.
In keeping with the fall season’s “back to school and back to business” theme, the Chamber is pleased to welcome President and CEO of Educational Testing Service, Kurt Landgraf as our September 4th Monthly Membership Luncheon speaker. Mr. Landgraf will address a vitally important issue, the state of higher education in the United States and in our own school districts in Central New Jersey.
You won’t want to miss the September 9th Networking Reception at Baker Hockey Rink on the Princeton University Campus. This Tuesday evening promises to be a combination of fun and business with networking and a good time for all courtesy of our friends at the Princeton University Department of Athletics, Community and Regional Affairs, and the Office of Public Affairs.
Robert Carr, President and CEO of Heartland Payment Systems, will share his expert advice on protecting your business from identity and credit card theft at the Business Before Business Breakfast on September 17. As Heartland Payment Systems is the fifth largest credit card processing company in the nation, Bob is an expert on the latest scams and ways to avoid and protect against them.
“Lead With Green” is the theme of one of the most popular and well attended events of the year, our Trade Fair. The 27th Annual Trade Fair & Culinary Showcase will take place on Wednesday, September 24, at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. The event will kick off with a Leadership Forum at 8 a.m. with representatives from Tyco International, Bovis Lend Lease, NRG Energy, Isles and PNC Bank. The Forum will discuss how your organization can become environmentally responsible. In addition, food samples will be provided by local restaurants, caterers and hotels throughout the day.
