The owner of 400 Alexander Park has begun a $10 million renovation of the four-story office building with the goal of attaining the environmentally friendly LEED certification for the four-story office building.

Woodmont Properties, based in Fairfield, said it would include a new facade with high-tech lighting, glass materials, and computer controlled heating and cooling systems for the 71,332-square-foot multi-tenant building.

“We are extremely excited to convert 400 Alexander into an architectural/engineering state-of-the-art facility,” said Woodmont CEO Eric Woodmont in a press release. “Creating a sustainable property will not only benefit our tenants, but also the surrounding community.”
