Elizabeth Reilly Moynahan, 94, on September 23. She was an architect who designed corporate office buildings, houses, schools, community buildings, housing for the elderly, barrier-free designs, a college library, and the compound for the Institute for Women’s Leadership located at Rutgers. In Princeton, she remodeled a section of the Princeton University Library and the Institute for Advanced Study, a pioneering design for solar housing as early as the 1970s.
She was active in historic preservation restoring, among others, the Albert Einstein House. A committed advocate for affordable housing, she was instrumental in creating Architects Housing, Eggerts Crossing Village Community Building and Offices in New Jersey.
Karen Grant Costello, 62, on October 3. She was a business systems analyst for the state for more than 40 years.
Ronald Carl Gering, 74, on September 29. He was executive director of Catholic Charities Family Services.
Richard H. Stoy, 76, on September 30. He started his career in the family business, Stoy’s Dairyland in Ewing, followed by being the owner/operator of Stoy’s Deli in Hamilton. He eventually worked at and retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Rev. Elmer L. Sullivan, 89, on September 27. He served for many years as rector of St. Luke’s Church, Prospect Heights in Ewing.
Nancy Eleanor Peakes Pike, 91, on September 28. She was business manager for Theology Today, the Princeton Theological Seminary’s quarterly journal.
