In early May, Stark & Stark shared that the Lawrenceville headquarters of the law firm, which has notably been one of the oldest practices in New Jersey since its founding in 1933, will relocate to the American Metro Center (AMC) in Hamilton. The renovated 76,000-square-foot building at 100 American Metro Boulevard is built to accommodate almost 200 employees and features historical architecture paired with modern-day design, according to the press release, even incorporating original steel beams.
“We are very excited to announce our commencement of operation in this new space,” Stark & Stark managing shareholder Michael Donahue says. “This is a new milestone in our history of commitment to our community. We truly look forward to bringing our clients, community partners, and employees to a space that is beautifully designed and provides state-of-the-art technology.”
This move to AMC effectively situates the legal solutions and services provider at a space adjacent to New Jersey Transit’s Hamilton Train Station off of Sloan Avenue.
“The location could not be more attractive. Positioned just walking distance from the NJ Transit train station, the accessibility to New York, Philadelphia, and the Northeast Corridor are undoubtedly premier features for employees and clients,” he says.
During the process of renovating the new space in the historic building, the press release credits Philadelphian firm HOK as the architect of the building, with engineering design firm services from Bala Consulting Engineers, project management support from Watchdog, and commercial real estate brokerage representation from Tactix Real Estate Advisors.
“The successful execution of this project was made possible through the meticulous coordination of operations within many departments and professionals managed by our Chief Operating Officer Gregory Deatz,” Donahue adds.
