Diverse workplaces are stronger workplaces, says author and business coach Rod Colon, pictured at right. An upcoming workshop at the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce promises to teach leaders how to build trust, expand perspectives, and reinforce the power of inclusion.

Colon is a motivational speaker, corporate trainer, and diversity and inclusion specialist, and describes himself as a “master networker.”

He speaks at the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, June 25, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club. Tickets are $45, $35 for members. Visit www.princetonmercerchamber.org.

Colon is the author of several books. His first, “Win the Race for 21st Century Jobs,” discusses the need for networking and human relationships as a major part of any job search and career management strategy. He also hosts a weekly call-in Internet radio show called “Own Your Career: The Weekly Summit for the CEO of Me, Inc.” on Mondays at 9 p.m. at BlogTalkRadio.com/OwnYourCareer. He is a graduate of Georgian Court University.
