Employees of Washington Group International’s

Carnegie Center office are working with the Habitat for Humanity to

renovate a two-family duplex home at 52 Leigh Avenue in Princeton.

A group from the company, which provides engineering and construction

services for infrastructure and power projects around the world, began

demolition on April 28. Work on renovation began on June 23.

A number of area companies pitched in to support the AmericanCancer Society Relay for Life. Held on June 8 and 9 in Rosedale Parkin Hopewell, the event raised over $100,000 for cancer research,education,advocacy, and patient services. More than 600 people in teams of 10to 12 set up tents in the park, forming a track. At least one memberof each team stayed on the track — walking, jogging, or running— all night long.
