#b#Rutgers University#/b# has donated $2,451 to New Brunswick soup kitchen Elijah’s Promise through the school’s meal donation program Operation: Robin Hood. The school donated $3.30 for each of the 734 meals students donated from their meal plans during February.

#b#MagyarBank#/b# recently donated $12,500 to three non-profit organizations from in central New Jersey: Puerto Rican Action Board on New Brunswick, to support its housing coalition and case management program; the Simuel Whitfield Simmons Organization of Somerset, to fund its food and clothing distribution program; and the Somerset County Coalition on Affordable Housing.

#b#3rd Federal Bank#/b#, with several area branches, recently donated more than $8,000 to United Way units in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Mercer County , and Southeastern Pennsylvania. The amount was a combination of more than $6,900 in employee donations and a $1,250 company contribution
