This contribution is in addition to Novo Nordisk’s initial donation of $2 million in 2008 that launched the campaign nationwide.
#b#Sanofi-Aventis#/b#, a pharma research and development firm based in Bridgewater, and Acme Markets have contributed to Capital Health’s “Serving Up Health” program, aimed at curbing obesity. Sanofi-Aventis gave $144,000, while Acme gave $20,000. The program most directly benefits the National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton.
More than 900 employees at #b#ETS #/b#raised $117,000 to fund the cost of the new home in Trenton for Habitat for Humanity and donated several volunteer hours. A ribbon cutting was held on April 30 at 621 North Clinton Avenue.
