Community Options has promoted Sibette Vasquez to director of government relations, a move that strengthens the organization’s policy strategy as it operates across a dozen states.
Vasquez will oversee federal and state advocacy efforts tied to funding, regulation and program expansion for disability services for the Princeton-based business.
“Sibette brings a strong understanding of policy and a deep commitment to the people we support,” said Robert Stack, president and CEO of Community Options.
“Her leadership will be critical as we continue to advocate for inclusive opportunities and ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to the services they need to thrive,” Stack said.
In the role, Vasquez will work with executive leadership and regional teams to align policy priorities with operational needs, while building relationships with elected officials, agencies and advocacy partners.
The position plays a key role in shaping reimbursement structures, service delivery models and legislative outcomes that affect providers in the disability services sector.
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue advancing the mission of Community Options,” Vasquez said.
“This work is about creating real opportunities for people with disabilities, and I look forward to working with our teams and partners to strengthen the systems that make inclusion possible,” she said.
Vasquez holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, providing a background in public policy and advocacy.
Community Options operates in 12 states and supports more than 7,000 individuals through housing, employment and day services, positioning government relations as a central function in its growth and sustainability strategy.
