Chilworth Signs Onto University Square

University Square is about to get a new tenant. Chilworth Technologies, a provider of process safety services to chemical, pharmaceutical, food stuffs, agrochemical, and oil/petrochemical companies, signed a 14,746-square-foot lease at 104 Campus Drive in late March and is scheduled to move from 250 Plainsboro Road in June. The move marks the second time a company based in Plainsboro — the first was financial firm Blackrock, which announced last year that it would leave its Scudder’s Mill Road location — has decided to move into University Square in West Windsor.

According to John Cunningham, an executive managing director with Colliers International New Jersey who represented Chilworth in the signing, Chilworth needed to relocate its U.S. headquarters and R&D facilities, but wanted to remain in the Princeton area. Cunningham said the space at University Square will be fitted for lab and office space. Chilworth currently employs 35 at its facilities at 250 Plainsboro Road.

Landlord RXR was represented by David Simson of Newmark Knight Frank.
