BioNJ Conference On HR Transitions

Share post:

A rule of life that all biologists know is that organisms must constantly change, or they will die. The same goes for organizations, even though change can also bring crises and hazards.

To help prepare human resources leaders to face times of transition BioNJ, a trade group for the life sciences, will host its second annual Human Resource Conference on Monday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hilton East Brunswick Hotel. For more information, call 609-890-3185, E-mail talentnetwork@bionj.org, or visit www.BioNJTalentNetwork.org. For the complete agenda, speaker biographies, and registration, visit bit.ly/Zt3x77.

This year’s theme is “Transition Transformation: Proactive Strategies for Life Sciences.” An opening panel of senior leaders will speak on the topic of leadership during times of transition and transformation.

The panel, moderated by Chris Martin, senior vice president of enterprise solutions for Randstad Professionals, will include Karen A. DiSanto, associate vice president of human resources of Ferring Pharmaceuticals; Bill Mann, CEO of Helsinn Therapeutics; Francois Nader, president and CEO of NPS Pharmaceuticals; and Joan Winterbottom, senior vice president of human resources of Amicus Therapeutics.

Also presenting at the conference: executives from Amicus Therapeutics, Conner Strong & Buckelew, Drinker, Biddle & Reath, Engle-Hambright & Davies, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Insmed, Johnson & Johnson, Joule, NPS Pharmaceuticals, PTC Therapeutics, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and others.
