Amazon Needs 800 More Workers

Amazon is looking for 800 more full-time workers at its fulfillment center in the Matrix Business Park in Robbinsville. Last month the company hired another 800 employees. The online retailing giant says it now employs more than 2,000 full-time workers at its 1 million square-foot facility In Robbinsville, which opened in 2014.

The new employees would pick, pack, and ship customer orders at the center. The company did not respond to a question about the pay rate of the new hires, but nationwide Amazon fulfillment associates make an average of $13 an hour according to an anonymous survey at Glassdoor.com.
