Adult School Open for Fall Courses

Princeton Adult School has released its fall suite of one- and two-night courses, and among the offerings are several aimed at helping students learn new technology, hone their skills and generally enhance their workplace experiences.

On the schedule this year are two classes on Microsoft Excel, one for beginners and one for those with intermediate knowledge of the popular spreadsheet program. In another class, Introduction to Slack, students will be able to familiarize themselves with the up-and-coming cloud-based set of team collaboration tools and services.

Students will also be able to take charge of their online lives with classes like Master Google Search, Introduction to Email Marketing Using Mailchimp, Digital Marketing For Small Businesses, and Using Google Blogger.

For the creative entrepreneur, there will be classes such as Shark Tank, How to Start a Home-Based Business, How to Work as a Consultant, How to Be an Event Planner and How to Succeed in Holistic Business.

On the fall calendar there is a course on improving time management, a course on becoming a better project manager, a course on mastering the job market and two classes on techniques for using LinkedIn.

Of course, the great majority of courses at Princeton Adult School are not business focused. The full online catalog of courses, including courses on personal finance, gardening, music appreciation, world languages and writing.

There are also a number of featured lectures on the schedule, including one on Russia’s last century, the 2017 New Jersey elections, and one on how Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have shaped the Middle East and our world.

Founded in 1939, the Princeton Adult School has long looked to offer lifelong learning opportunities to residents of Greater Princeton.
