Audition
Roxey Ballet is holding auditions for the Jungle Book ballet “Mowgli” and “Graduation Ball” on Saturday, January 15, at New Hope Eagle Banquet Center, 46 Sugan Road, New Hope. Performances are April 23 and 24 at Villa Victoria Theater in Ewing. Register for an audition slot at www.roxeyballet.org. Cost: $35. Participation fee is $285. Audition times are 2:30 p.m. for ages 4 to 6; 3:15 p.m. for ages 7 to 10; 4 p.m. for ages 11 to 13; and 4:45 p.m. for ages 14 and up.
Voices Chorale NJ welcomes new singers. Tenors and basses are particularly needed, although all voice parts are welcome. Kelsey Theater at Mercer County Community College is holding auditions for “Dial M for Murder” at the campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. Audition times are Sunday, January 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, January 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. Appointments are required. Call for Volunteers
New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS), a division of New York Blood Center, which provides blood for local patients, is looking for a few good volunteers. The blood drive volunteer’s tasks include assisting donors with registration and/or at the refreshment area. No medical background necessary.
Volunteers should be outgoing to provide friendly customer service, be able to perform tasks as needed and must provide proof of COVID vaccination. Must have transportation. All training is provided including additional safety precautions. Call for Films
Submissions are being accepted for the 2022 Princeton Environmental Film Festival (PEFF), a signature Princeton Public Library event featuring films and filmmaker talks and other presentations that explore sustainability, environmental issues, and life on our planet. The festival will be presented in April with special screenings taking place throughout the year. The submission deadline for the April event is Monday, February 7.
An entry form is available at princetonlibrary.org/peff along with additional information about PEFF. There is no fee to submit a film for consideration.
The Princeton Environmental Film Festival is under the direction of Susan Conlon and Kim Dorman, whose focus is to present films with local, regional, and international relevance, and engage our community in exploring environmental sustainability from a wide range of angles and perspectives.
